This shapefile is displayed to show locations of current UST facilities in Mobile and Baldwin Counties in Alabama.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The UST Compliance Section of the Groundwater Branch is responsible for implementation of equipment and leak detection standards for underground storage tank systems. These staff perform inspections and recommend enforcement action where needed. This Section also serves to provide the regulated public with as much information as possible to ensure that a tank owner or operator understands what their responsibilities. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>

Excel file was downloaded from the ADEM UST Compliance website.

The UST facilities excel sheet was converted to a .csv file and imported into ArcMap 10.8 and converted to a shapefile. The shapefile was then imported into the Environmental geodatabase as a feature class and implemented into the Environmental Map.

UST facilities excel file was reviewed to determine UST sites that did not have latitude and longitude locations associated with street addresses. UST facilities with accurate enough street address to locate the facility were located in Google Earth Pro and the corresponding latitude and longitude associated with the street addresss was entered into the excel sheet.
